Trivia

Crossed Palm Trees

Almost all In-N-Out Burger locations has a couple of crossed palm trees located on their property. This is an allusion to founder Harry Snyder’s favorite movie, Stanley Kramer’s It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World, in which the characters look for a hidden treasure and find it under “the big W” made by four palm trees, with the middle two forming an “X” according to a story in the Gilroy Dispatch.

Spread

“One real secret is the sauce In-N-Out puts on its burgers. The way it is prepared is kept closely guarded, but it’s not Thousand Island salad dressing. They promise.” according to a story in the Gilroy Dispatch.
